Palletways Triple Platinum Award
We’re proud to share that our Kilmarnock depot has been awarded Triple Platinum status by Palletways, announced at the Palletways 2026 Conference in June.
It’s a milestone that means a great deal to us. Having previously earned Platinum recognition, reaching Triple Platinum is proof that our standards haven’t just been maintained, they’ve kept climbing. For a business that measures itself on consistency, being recognised at this level year after year is exactly the kind of achievement we set out to earn.
What makes it stand out is the timeframe. We’ve reached this level in just four years since joining Palletways, a pace of growth that’s already been recognised beyond the network through our place on the Scotland Fast 50. This is the kind of credibility that usually takes decades to build. There’s no shortcut to it. It’s earned through constant reinvestment in our fleet, our sites and our people, and a refusal to stand still.
Reserved for the very top performers across the Palletways network, this status reflects both the service levels we hold ourselves to and the commercial growth we’ve delivered. In a network the size of Palletways, the UK’s largest and most trusted pallet distribution network, that kind of sustained performance is what sets the very best depots apart.
Where PPS Logistics started
Kilmarnock is where this business began, and it continues to set the bar. We started with a single depot running 1.5 trunks of inbound freight and not a single customer pallet going out. Today we operate two depots and pull in 8 southbound trunks of inbound freight, now approaching balanced capacity between inbound and outbound.
That balance matters. It’s the mark of a depot that isn’t just moving volume but running it efficiently in both directions, and it makes Kilmarnock one of the most efficient depots in the country, operating at the highest bar in the network.
It’s also made us the largest Scottish Palletways member, covering 100 postcodes across both delivery and input volume, and we’re still bringing on new business. Growth at that scale doesn’t slow the operation down. If anything, it sharpens it.
Earned by the whole team
An award like this isn’t won in a boardroom. It’s earned on the loading bay, in the cab, and on the phone with customers, every single day.
Kilmarnock is headed up by Allan Engelmann, our Operations Manager, supported by Mark Cunningham, Ryan Wilson, the warehouse team, and a squad of drivers who are the face of PPS to every customer they meet.
On the customer service side, Heather and Lewis, led by Lesley Ewing, keep clients informed and looked after and make sure every consignment is handled the way it should be.
Triple Platinum belongs to all of them. Our operations and commercial teams who keep standards high and the business growing, our warehouse team who keep the freight moving, and our drivers out on the road. This one is theirs.
What it means for our customers
For the businesses who trust us with their freight, this recognition is a straightforward promise. When you choose PPS Logistics, you’re choosing a partner operating at the highest level the network recognises. It’s independent confirmation of what we aim to deliver on every consignment: reliable, high-quality logistics services you can count on.
To everyone who played a part, thank you. Triple Platinum is a milestone, and we’re already focused on the next one.
